The goal at Whistler Kids Ski and Snowboard school is to inspire memories through encouragement, accomplishment and friendship. The kids ski school programs are designed to teach skiing and snowboarding skills, explore the West Coast mountain environment, pique children's imaginations through the magical world of Whistler Kids Ski School and to provide opportunities for children to make new friends. At Whistler Kids Ski School, the ski and snowboard pros are highly trained professionals who specialize in teaching kids. All group programs include a full day of professional instruction, a healthy lunch and guaranteed good times.

Age 3 Months - 6 Years

Whistler Blackcomb offers licensed childcare staffed by Early Childhood Educators for children age 3 months to 48 months. These people love kids so your children will have a great time. All the staff have first aid training. You will be given a complimentary Telus pager so you can rest assured everything is fine and enjoy your ski day with total peace of mind. This is a fun, stimulating, age appropriate environment in three convenient locations. Schedule: Blackcomb Base: December 8 - April 21, Whistler Creekside: December 8- April 21, Westin Resort: year round.  Please note that the following 5-day adventure Camp will also take place at the Creekside location Dec 24, Dec 31, Feb 18, Mar 17 & 24.

Daily Programs and Camps for Kids

An Adventure Camp is our best group lesson program for kids. It's absolutely jam packed with fun events and activities. Your kids will get comfortable fast as they have the same instructor all week. What happens is nice all around - the kids get to know other kids, the instructor really gets to know the kids and lasting friendships often blossom. This is an enhanced learning progression that ends up in measurable results. Fun is just the beginning. If your schedule doesn't allow for the 5 Day Camp sign up any day of the week for daily programs or if you are visiting during the Discover Whistler Days we also offer 2 Day Weekend Programs. Please note that the following 5-day adventure Camp will also take place at the Creekside location Dec 24, Dec 31, Feb 18, Mar 17 & 24.

This is no ordinary ski school, it's a culture. This is where you ski and ride with pros who know the mountain inside out, top to bottom and bottom to top. The Tribe has a feel all its own and the results prove that doing it differently is doing it better. Five days will change the way you see the mountains. An unforgettable learning/fun/energizing/full tilt experience.

Private Ski Lessons for Kids and Teens

The lessons are tailored with your child's needs and pace in mind. Private lessons offer personalized coaching with a maximum of 5 people of similar abilities. Naturally, a private lesson provides an accelerated learning environment and as a result, you can expect rapid progress. Terrain is chosen to fit your child's abilities and moods. It is a great way to be introduced (or be reacquainted) with all both mountains have to offer.

Want to spend more time with your children? We can tailor the private lesson to your family so you can ski and ride together and explore the mountains with your own instructor. Includes lift line priority. Ages 3 to 18 years.

Prices includes program only, lift tickets and rental equipment extra. Rates do not include 6% GST.All beginner Ride Lessons include helmets and wrist guards.

Tips for a Successful Family Vacation With Your Infant or Toddler

The Whistler Kids Childcare Centres open daily at 8:00 am. All pre-registered guests should proceed directly to the facility to check your child in. Please have your child at the facility no later than 9:30 am.

• Pagers are provided so that we may contact you if necessary throughout the day.
• Ensure your child is well rested, healthy, has eaten breakfast and has recovered from jetlag.
• Your child will spend the day with our qualified caregivers engaged in age appropriate indoor and outdoor play - naps included.
• You are required to complete an emergency information form (11K PDF) which includes information pertaining to the health and safety of your child. Please print it out, fill it in, and bring it with you on your child's first day.

What to Pack With Your Child

Lunch is provided but please include prepared bottles if your child requires one during the day. If your child has special dietary needs you are welcome to pack a lunch but please do not pack any nut products as we operate 'nut free' facilities.

• If your child has a special "cuddly", please pack it in your child's bag and label it with your child's name.
• If your child is in diapers please provide a sufficient number for the day, along with diaper wipes.
• Please ensure your child has appropriate indoor and outdoor clothing including:
  
  • Comfortable indoor clothing including slippers and a change of clothing
  • Hat and mittens
  • Warm outerwear for stroller walks or outdoor play.
• You are required to complete an emergency information form (11K PDF) which includes information pertaining to the health and safety of your child. Please print it out, fill it in, and bring it with you on your child's first day.

Pick-Up

You will be required to sign a form, releasing your child from our care, at the end of the day.
